Moving? Eliminate the Guesswork with the Moving Box Estimator Widget….

No one likes to move and this week, Zillow made the process a little easier. You and your clients won’t have to stare at stacks of small, medium, or large moving boxes wondering what unique combination will fit your needs.  Zillow just launched a new “Moving Box Estimator” widgetwhich will give a more accurate picture of your ideal moving box distribution needs.

How does it work? Enter the number of rooms, square feet, and number of adults and children in the household and the widget will calculate how many small, medium, and large-size boxes you will need, as well as number of dish packs, and wardrobe boxes.

For movers and real estate professionals, this widget will not only provide a fun and useful interactive tool on your website, but will also provide the following goodies:

1.       Widget customization – It will include your company’s logo and personal message.

2.       Co-branding – If a user chooses to go to Zillow from the widget, you will immediately receive a free banner ad that follows the user through their browsing experience.  The banner ad will also provide a clear link back to your website.

3.       Lead capture – You can edit the button on the calculation screen of the widget, which offers users the contact form or a different portion of your website.

For a live example of the widget, check out the Adams Moving and Delivery Service’s website.

Installing the widget is easy, but if you have any questions, please contact us at bizdev at zillow dot com and someone can help you install it!
